Minister Kelly U. Farrow

Minister Kelly U. Farrow is a native New Yorker who accepted Christ at an early age and has been a member of Convent Avenue Baptist Church for over 15 years. Early in her walk Minister Kelly received the Holy Spirit and went on to receive her call to ministry in the spring of 1999.

At the leading of the Lord, Minister Kelly finished up her BS at Nyack College as a dual major in Business & Bible, and went on to pursue her Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Nyack Graduate School of Business, and her Master of Divinity with a concentration in Theology from Alliance Theological Seminary. Currently she is a candidate for PhD in Education at Capella University with a concentration in Higher Education Leadership. Minister Kelly also received the honor and distinction of being inducted into the National Scholars Honor Society for academic excellence, was the1995 recipient of the Young Outstanding Women of America recognition and is currently a member of Cambridge Who’s Who in America.

Minister Kelly preached her Initial Sermon, was licensed to the gospel ministry, and became an Associate Minister of Convent Avenue Baptist Church in the late fall of 2008. Minister Kelly knows that God has called her to serve in many areas of ministry and thus she uses her gifts and calls to fulfill her purpose in the Kingdom of God.

Areas in which Minister Kelly has been anointed to serve in at Convent are: Youth Ministry, Trustee Ministry, The Sunday School Ministry, and in the Music Ministry. With such a diverse ministry, calls and gifts, she is confident God will use her mightily and to His Glory!
