Food Pantry

The mission of the Convent Avenue Baptist Church Food Pantry is to meet the nutritional food needs of those underprivileged persons residing in the community.

The Convent Avenue Baptist Church Food pantry is located within the J.W. Saunders Educational Building off of the corner of 144th Street and Convent Avenue in Harlem.

The Food Pantry is open Monday and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Single men are assisted on Monday as well as families and seniors. Families and seniors are serviced on Thursdays.

Due to the ongoing economic crisis, staggering numbers of unemployment, homelessness and pantry closing, Convent Avenue Baptist Church remains in the forefront of emergency assistance for the community at large.
