Healing Hope Ministry
The Healing Hope Ministry provides spiritual support, education and compassion to those individuals affected and infected with the HIV virus. Monthly HIV mouth swab testing is done on site. All inquiries and testing are strictly confidential.

Nurses Ministry

The Role of the Church Nurse:

  • The church nurse minister to those in need of medical assistance.
  • The church nurse is one who does not discriminate or select those whom she/he will serve.
  • The church nurse shows her/his image of God through serving God's people, wherever/whenever needed.
  • The church nurse deals with the holistic situation, the person and the problem, knows what to do as well as what not to do.
  • The church nurse loves kindness, walks humbly, considerably and is helpful in relationships with all others as a true example of holiness. She/he is friendly, reliable, courteous and kind.
  • The church nurse studies the Bible regularly and prays constantly.

The Church Nurses' Pledge
I solemnly pledge before God and in the presence of my fellowman, to live my life in purity and practice my Christian living faithfully. I will abstain whatever is deleterious and mischievous; will not knowingly administer harm to my fellowman.

I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate my calling to the Nursing Ministry calling and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to keeping in my Church, local, State and National affairs. With loyalty, I will endeavor to aid and devote myself to the welfare of those I come in contact with, through Jesus Christ our Lord, we pledge. Amen.

Statement of Purpose
The purpose of CABC Nurses Ministry is to nurture the human spirit through health education, spiritual support, and linking the needs of the whole person to resources within the congregation, community, and the health care system.
