Evangelism Ministry
The Scripture tells us we are to, "Go ye therefore,
and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" -Matthew
28:19
The Evangelism Ministry reaches out to find those who are
lost in order to bring them to Christ through street ministries
and distribution of tracts.

African American Experience
Forum (A.A.E.F.)
Mission /Activities
The African-American Experience Forum ministry is a ministry
of the Christian Board of Education and its primary goal
is being responsible for raising the social consciousness
of the church through worship, prayer, observance of various
cultural community events, and the celebration of the African
Diaspora.
The African-American Experience Forum ministry develops
and distributes facts on African-American history. The ministry
also conducts and sponsors several events, some of which
are the annual Women’s History Month Award program,
an annual college/career fair, a series of book discussions
on various topics, an African-American History Month church-wide
program, and a church-wide Kwanzaa celebration. Aside from
this, the Forum assists and co-sponsors other ministries
in their various celebrations and programs of our Christian
culture and faith.
Where We Meet
The African-American Experience Forum ministry meets every
third Sunday in the John W. Saunders Building, room 309,
following the 11 o’clock service. All members of the
Convent Avenue Baptist Church are encouraged to come and
join us as we build towards our goals
in faith.
